With Double Click Curriculum, all of  your student’s lab assignments are planned for you, directly correlated with your method book series, topic by topic and lesson by lesson, for immediate reinforcement and practice on the topic you are working on.  Each student receives a copy of Double Click Curriculum just as they would their own lesson or theory book. 

Simply check the assignments you would like the student to complete and they will check off the assignments and add a score when completed.

Double Click Curriculum® has your lab planning done for you!  The authors have studied each lesson in a wide variety of programs to understand the details of what is covered, since the lesson titles are often misleading.  When assigning lessons, they took into consideration what skills a student needs to know to complete an assignment.

Each student receives their own Double Click Curriculum® book to coordinate with their lesson book.  Simply match the student's method book page with the Double Click Curriculum® page.  Choose what software lesson(s) you would like a student to complete.  You may choose all programs on that page or just one or two.

Assigning Lessons with Double Click Curriculum

Double Click Curriculum has two columns next to each assignment.  The "A" (Assigned) column is used for the teacher to assign a lesson.  Students mark the "C" (Completed) column, adding a score where applicable, as they complete each activity.   This book now becomes a record of what each student has completed making it easy to assign a new lesson the following week.

No Specific Software Required

Double Click Curriculum® gives students the exact lab assignment to coordinate with their lesson book using multiple software programs* you may already own.  You do not need any one specific program nor do you need all of the programs.  As students move into new levels, some of the same software programs continue to be used while others are added and removed as appropriate. (See example below.)  Track user name and passwords for each program on the Student User Name and Password page.

An activity from the Music Appreciation book in the Double Click Curriculum® series provides a great way for students to learn about composers and music history.  Music Appreciation Activities are arranged by composer's birthday for easy reference.  Assignments use a variety of resources (software, CDs, DVDs, books, etc.) all available from Keys to Imagination.
