Caught Ya Doing Something Great

Give your students a Caught Ya certificate for doing something great in their lessons. After earning 3, they receive a Reward Certificate to have mom and dad make their bed or do the dishes for them, take a day off practicing, or for them or a place to write their own. Teaching Idea: For an added bonus, you could collect all certificates given out in a month and have a drawing for a prize.

Get out your sheriff's badge! Have you ever suggested your students slow down, play dynamics, or to bring their books and they don’t seem to hear you? Give them a fun traffic ticket to help them remember! Each ticket contains nine reasons for receiving a ticket such as Speeding through a song and a place to add your own. After three tickets, students will land themselves in Piano Prison. To bail themselves out, they need to earn $25 in music money by completing activities on the back of the ticket.
