"I am a college music teacher at Carleton College in Northfield MN.  This year, 2008, is my 31st year of teaching. My first computer was a MacPlus when it was a week old. In a few months I thought it would be  fun to learn how to write software programs for music. I learned to program through books purchased at Barnes and Noble. I wrote the MUSIC LESSONS on software for the MacPlus in the late 80s. I wrote it  because I thought it was the theory that the college students should have learned before they got to college.
