Narrated by Sir Peter Ustinov, this award-winning program features twenty-six excerpts from the classical repertoire plus an original theme performed by the Toronto Philharmonia Orchestra, all carefully selected to be appealing to the young listener. Each excerpt is used to illustrate musical concepts of the sound of a particular instrument.

Colorful, imaginative, and technically accurate visuals are derived from the book illustrations by noted children’s illustrator Alan Daniel.
