Wynn-Anne Rossi

www.rossi-music.com

Rossi music has deep roots in Minnesota! For decades, I have traveled to the shores of Lake Superior for meaningful inspiration. Give me a cabin by the water and a keyboard to play, and I’m ready to compose. Regional commissions have included works inspired by the MN State Fair, MN creatures and MN state symbols.

I am best known for my educational piano compositions, primarily published by FJH Music and Alfred Publishing. These publications reflect my passion for all genres of music, including American jazz and international dance music. I have also written advanced repertoire for piano, vocal groups, chamber ensembles, concert band and orchestra. Music education, particularly in the realm of self-expression, is vital to me. For 13 years, I was the outreach composer for the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, teaching young musicians to compose. I enjoy presenting, sharing innovative ideas and new music in creative ways.
